Razer DeathAdder V2

  • DPI: 20,000
  • Sensor: Optical
  • Buttons: 6
  • Weight: 82g (2.9oz)

The reason this is at the top of the list is because it has one of the best sensors out on the market. According to Razer it has a 650 IPS tracking speed and a 0.2 millisecond response time. With up to 20,000 DPI you can make the mouse as sensitive to movement as you want and will still have incredible performance. It has 6 programable buttons outside of left click and right click that you can use to make your gaming experience smoother. It supports macros that can programmed in the razor app as well. It is not the lightest mouse on the market but it is definitely the lightest mouse on this list by 7g. It has a tactile scroll wheel and on board memory. The on board memory can support up to 5 profiles that you can cycle between using the programmable buttons or through the app itself. If you are looking for a newer version they have released the DeathAdder V3, however, it is more expensive.

Razer Naga Pro

  • DPI: 20,000
  • Sensor: Razer Focus+ optical sensor
  • Buttons: 3 swappable side plates with up to 19+1 programmable buttons
  • Weight: 117g (4.1oz)

Simple is not always better, especially when it comes to MMO’s. The Razer Naga Pro was designed with that in mind. With 3 swappable plates that range from 2-12 additional buttons that are fully programmable, you can easily customize it to your needs. Like the DeathAdder this uses the Razer software to program the buttons. It supports macros and has on board memory as well. It is heavier at 117g and has a more bulky and rounded shape to it. This mouse is wireless but the does come at a cost. It is almost $200 more than the DeathAdder V2 but does feature the additional buttons and swappable plates to help make up for that difference. If you are into MMO’s it maybe worth paying the extra money to get an edge on your competitors.

Logitech G502 X

  • DPI: 25,600
  • Sensor: Opto-mechanical
  • Buttons: 11
  • Weight: 89g (3.1oz)

Logitech has made a name for itself in the gaming community with reliable products. The G502 series mice is one of those products. What makes the G502 X different is its light weight compared to the rest in the series. It features the Hero series Opto-mechanical sensor which can go up to 25,600 DPI. It has 11 programable buttons including the DPI shift button which can be adjusted and programmed to your liking. Its ergonomic design is optimal for reducing hand strain and is best suited for a claw grip but works with a standard grip as well. Its mouse wheel features a tactile option or with the click of a button it will turn into a smooth scroll. For a reasonable price this mouse comes packed with features that are accessible from the Logitech app.

Depending on what you are looking for and are willing to pay there are many different options. If price is no issue then the Razer Naga Pro is a great option with its customizability and its reliable and quick response time. If price is an issue then either of the other two options will work depending on what you are looking for in a mouse and how it feels in your hand.
